Scouting on the Green

Firstly, let me applaud your wife on your commitment to creating The Scouting Way. We need our youth to be more cognizant of their special place in our society and the demands the future has in store for them.

My career, as well as that of my life, has been guided by several tenets. One is to be ever mindful of the respect I need to show others as well as to myself. Self-worth and self-esteem are critical to the proper development of an individual in our society.

The second principle is to set lofty, but attainable goals. By giving up too easily we never know our limits. By never achieving we do not know our capabilities. Focusing on a task while keeping an open mind to the potential solutions to our problems is the best way I have found to "get it done".

Sincerely,
